Mbappe was at his usual best, especially after coming back from his World Cup duties for France. He was displaying his work rate in the final third and left flank. He had four successful dribbles and a few accurate crosses from the left flank. He had a 50% success rate for dribbles. Mbappe took the winning kick of the game and secured all three points for PSG.
PSG looked like they would drop points during the final minutes, especially playing a man down, but they managed to secure all three points thanks to a last-minute penalty. This win will give them some confidence they might be looking for this season to get their hands on that elusive UCL trophy.
