The Brazil celebrity uploaded a movie on his social networking accounts of him thanking caregivers for their continuing efforts.

Paris Saint-Germain talisman Neymar has thanked health employees for their efforts in combating the spread of coronavirus.

The majority of the world’s inhabitants, such as high-profile footballers like Brazil global Neymar, are being encouraged to stay at home to limit the effect of the global pandemic.

Yet doctors and nurses stay on the frontline in the battle against Covid-19.

Earlier this week residents in Italy and Spain, that are in lockdown, showed their admiration for health employees by applauding in unison in events coordinated on social networking.

Neymar has followed suit with a movie of him clapping uploaded onto his social networking accounts.

His caption read: “A huge round of applause to all caregivers.

“Thank you for risking your lives #StayHome”

There have been over 246,000 confirmed instances of COVID-19 throughout the world and more than 10,000 people have died.

The pandemic has seen the 2019-20 season called to a stop across Europe’s major football leagues, with it not yet known for sure when or if remaining fixtures will be finished.

The Premier League, Ligue 1, La Liga and Bundesliga have shut up shop until April at the earliest, and global soccer has been negatively affected.

UEFA announced on Tuesday that this summertime European Championships were to be pushed back until 2021, with CONMEBOL the following suit by postponing the Copa America.

Neymar’s last appearance for PSG arrived in a Champions League round of 16 second-leg victory over Borussia Dortmund, which was played behind closed doors at Parc des Princes on March 11.

All European contests have since been put on hiatus, with European Cup and Europa League closing dates re-arranged at the end of June.
