Kylian Mbappe might have openly said that he has not decided on his future yet. But there are strong rumours that he will move to Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer. The French striker already has a pre-agreement with the Spanish club, and now PSG cannot change his mind.

But now, after Paris Saint Germain’s first leg match in the Champions League against Real Madrid, rumours are coming from France that they are ready to offer Mbappe more salary in a week that they are giving now, and it will be more than what Real Madrid offers. PSG are trying hard to change his mind and make him stay in Paris.

But his chances of leaving are more than staying. So, let’s have a look at the players who PSG will eye if Mbappe leaves:

Erling Haaland

Erling Haaland will be on the top list for PSG if Mbappe decides to depart. At 21, Haaland has broken several records in the Bundesliga and the Champions League. He was the fastest player to reach 20 UEFA Champions League goals.

Haaland is the obvious direct replacement for the talent that Mbappe is. While the others are immensely talented, they are still several notches below the Frenchman. That is, however, not the case with Norweigan. Haaland is a prospective Ballon d’Or winner, and PSG would arguably improve by replacing Mbappe with him.

Ousmane Dembele

If the financial part with signing Haaland creates some problems, then PSG will target Ousmane Dembele, whose contract with Barcelona ends in the summer, and he has not talked with the Barca management to renew his contract.

The 24-year-old is expected to be on his way out of Camp Nou after turning down the club’s latest contract proposal, as he sought a mega-contract worth 40 million euros per season. In fact, some reports have already indicated that the Parisian giants have already opened talks with Barcelona forward’s entourage.

Richarlison

Everton’s Brazilian attacker will be their third top target in the summer. Richarlison was one of the front-runners amongst the lot. The Brazilian forward has shown his versatility over the years. He has operated on either wing in different setups as well as a striker in a front two.

Richarlison is an extremely adept dribbler. He is also a dangerous presence in the box, even strong aerially. The forward has 10+ goals in two of his last three seasons in the Premier League.

The Brazilian is 24-years-old and can prove to be a player of a similar profile to Mbappe at PSG. Richarlison would thrive in a direct attacking play style and add a different dimension to an already creative side.
